Woodmont Elementary School, 2003

Woodmont Elementary School, located on 16th Avenue South was opened in 1960 to serve the Woodmont and Redondo community children. It is part of the Federal Way School District. The Woodmont Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) was started in the school in 1961 and later built the building across the street, now the home of the Salvation Army. There are 430 students enrolled at Woodmont Elementary in grades K-6 for the 2003-2004 school year.
