The museum is open from 1-4 pm on the first Saturday of each month and all Saturdays from Memorial Day through Labor Day. At other times the Museum is open by appointment. Please E-mail info@dmhs.org or call 206-824-5226.

Admission Information
Admission to the Museum is free. Donations are always appreciated.

Directions and Map
The Des Moines Historical Society is located 25 minutes south of downtown Seattle on Puget Sound. To get there from I-5 take the SR-516 exit number 149. Head west on SR-516 (Kent-Des Moines Road) which becomes Marine View Drive South. Turn west onto South 225th Street. The museum is located in the historic Odd Fellows Hall at 730 South 225th Street. The entrance is on Backstage Alley.

Throughout its colorful history, the Odd Fellows Hall has housed the police station, jail, fire station, school, and City Hall and has been the meeting place for clubs, churches and organizations for nearly a century.
