North Hill Water Tower, Water District 75 in 2003 |
Water District Number 75 was established by a special election held August 12, 1946, and operates the North Hill Water Tower located near the crest of the Hill on S. 208th St. Originally water was obtained from wells, but now much of the district's water is purchased from the City of Seattle's reservoirs. After North Hill was annexed into Des Moines, the City developed much of the land surrounding the tower into a park cutting some of the trees on the property.
